502/615 - Wicketted Bag Opening/Sealing System

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Load a stack of up to 1,000 bags into the bag magazine. A self-generating high pressure air system directs a finely controlled air stream into the top bag; holding it open around a set of precision guide arms. As the product moves toward the mouth of the bag, the guide arms move in; changing, in effect, the flimsy bag material to a rigid container for purposes of loading. This makes filling quick and easy; even with untrained help. The bag is then dropped onto the gravity heat sealer where it is sealed and trimmed. Operator output is multiplied many times, but the work is made easier.

  • 502/615 Instant hand wheel and lock adjustment for product length, width and thickness changes.
  • Adjustable slide angle to suit the weight and nature of the product.
  • Dial control for seal time dwell to suit thickness of bag film.
  • Kicker bar provided for positive separation of trimmed bag top. Plus air jet nozzle for chip disposal.
  • Teflon cloth over sealer jaw gives instant release of heated film.
  • Roller Shade mounting for instant replenishment and maximum use of Teflon.
